When we as a nation decide to do something we embark on a relentless journey to better ourselves to accomplish that goal. This picture reminds me that we went from nothing to a human being going further than any other in human history to stand on the surface of the moon in the span of a decade. I want to be a part of a generation that pushes itself beyond the boundaries that conventional thinking has built to confine us.I want to get back to the back-breaking, gritty, don’t ever quit….ever attitude that made this country what it is today. I say we stop taking our freedom for granted and thank the Lord almighty for giving us the great fortune of being born in the greatest nation in human history.

When things get tough look at this picture and think about the obstacles we had to overcome to reach that goal. Don’t back down, don’t cower and wait for things to get better. Make them better! With determination, burning desire and most importantly the awesome life altering power of God what can we achieve next? I wake up everyday with a desire to find out, and I hope you do too. Who’s with me?

Indecisive

I’m sitting here thinking back to the days when I was younger and used to just go for things without weighing the pros & cons. Call it a ready-fire-aim mentality. What ever happened to that? People nowadays are so petrified when it comes to stepping out there they rob themselves of what could be a life defining moment or decision. “Just Do It”. It doesn’t get any more simple than that does it? Life is nothing more than a series of decisions, now granted some decisions should be thoroughly reviewed, but if you find yourself constantly saying “no”, or instictively shy away from anything different, do yourself this favor. Take a step back, look at the big picture, ask yourself if saying “yes” will enrich your life. Then decide either way. Resist the urge to make fear based decisions. I’ve always thought the saying “live your life like today is your last” was a bit to extreme. How about “live your life like today means something to you”, and see if that starts to change your perspective on things a bit. End.

Why does this word exist, and where does it come from? Giggle?…Giggle? Seriously blogosphere help me out on this one. No person should ever say the word giggle to another person. Unless that person wants to get ninja freaked up by me.
